MBA students in the Distance Program will participate in a curriculum model that is based on taking two courses per semester. Everyone begins in either Fall semester or Spring semester and finishes within a mandatory five-year time frame required by the AU Graduate School. It is possible to take only one course per semester or to take three courses per semester if the student is capable of completing the assignments in the time frame expected each term. Most Outreach students complete all degree requirements in three years or less!

Using the two courses per semester method, there will be a minimum of three Fall semesters due to the fact that BUSI 7986, Integrated Business Project & Case Analysis, should be completed the last Fall semester -- either alone or with an elective. It is possible to take only one other Fall core class with BUSI 7986 if needed. Core courses are taught only in the Fall and Spring semesters as designated below.
