Since 1990, the Auburn MBA degree has also been available off campus through the video-based Distance Learning Program. This program was created to better serve those students for whom a location-bound MBA is not possible. Over 1100 students have completed their degrees through this flexible, innovative program. This program offers professionals the opportunity to continue their education while maintaining full-time employment, wherever they may be located in the U.S., Canada, and U.S. Military Installations. It also allows full-time students to accept a job and complete their degree off campus; an option most other MBA programs cannot offer.
Video-based MBA students receive the same instruction as on campus students and complete all class assignments and tests. More than 250 students from across the United States in Fortune 500 companies, small firms, and all branches of the Military are currently earning an Auburn MBA through the Distance Learning program.
Auburn University's Master of Business Administration program is fully accredited by the AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Our classes are small, and typically have from 10-50 students in them. Students are required to have completed undergraduate courses in calculus, statistics and the fundamentals of business education (see the Application Information and Prerequisite Course Requirements pages), prior to entering the program.
