The objective of the Master of Business Administration degree is to prepare the talented and strongly motivated student for a leadership role in a highly competitive and volatile business and economic environment. The MBA has become the standard credential for those individuals needing the experience, skill, motivation, and training necessary to open financial and career opportunities. The Auburn MBA Program is experienced at delivering quality education. Leaders around the world have learned to count on Auburn University's educational resources to boost their qualifications, reach their personal goals, and fuel their desire for success. Accredited through AACSB, Auburn University offers students several options for completing their MBA. Whether you are a new college graduate, mid-career manager, experienced executive, or medical professional, the Auburn MBA Program has a place for you.

The On-Campus program generally encompasses a minimum of 36 semester credit hours of course work in four semesters, including the required summer MBA internship. During the program, students may earn a 12-hour concentration in a wide variety of functional areas. The concentrations allow students to focus on a specific subject to compliment the broad nature of the MBA degree.

The MBA is available off campus through the video-based Graduate Outreach Program. Outreach students can expect a somewhat longer duration balanced by a lighter course load with no internship. These students have a benefit of applying their current class material to their work environment, allowing them to provide real-time feedback about their organizations to the class via internet-based message boards and other communications media. With over 1100 alumni throughout the country, the Outreach MBA is a viable solution with proven results.

Additionally, the MBA program has developed an Executive MBA and Physicians Executive MBA to suit the needs of more experienced executives and medical professionals. Both programs offer cutting edge education for the core MBA disciplines. Specialized concentrations in Technology Management and Health Care are available for executives interested in further specialization. Knowledgeable, insightful faculty, creative projects and coursework, horizon-expanding travel, and a network of experienced fellow executives all combine to give students an awareness of their own strengths, an expanded knowledge of business disciplines, and a new perspective on today's complex business landscape.
