At any given time, Auburn’s full time MBA program consists of two classes, commonly referred to as “First Year and Second Year.” The students who comprise these classes come from all walks of life. It is the different cultural and educational backgrounds that make each MBA class unique. For example, the MBA Class of 2006 consists of students from 10 states in the US and 7 foreign countries. Additionally, in the MBA Class of 2005 there are 5 students who have already completed another master’s program and 3 students who currently hold a Ph.D. While one might assume that the vast majority of students seeking their MBA at Auburn have an undergraduate business background, it is actually the case that the mix of business backgrounds and engineering backgrounds is close to even.

If you were to ask our current students why they chose the Auburn MBA program, you would receive a variety of answers. For some, it was the friendly atmosphere they encountered when they visited the campus and town of Auburn. Others have stated that they “were drawn to Auburn because of the excellent quality of its program and the affordable price.” Still, others have stated criteria such as smaller class sizes and faculty accessibility as their primary reasons for attendance. Whatever their initial reason for becoming a part of the Auburn MBA program, once here, each student thrives as they work toward completing their degree and becoming a part of the Auburn family.
