![]() The Association of Graduate Business Students (AGBS) helps students build a network of business contacts and develop their interpersonal skills to ensure success in the corporate world. To help accomplish this we host professional speakers at monthly meetings. Past speakers include representatives from Ernst & Young, AG Edwards, and Cisco Systems, among many others. Joining AGBS is very easy. Simply attend one of the monthly meetings and speak with one of the Executive Officers about joining. Meetings are normally held on Tuesday evenings in one of the ground floor classrooms in the College of Business . Meeting times are subject to change, so check with one of the AGBS officers for exact times, dates, and places. The only requirements are that you must be a Graduate Student in the College of Business enrolled for the current semester. Dues are yearly payable Fall semester and vary according to class and graduation date. (Ex: Dues for students graduating in December will be less than those staying for the entire academic year.) These dues help to finance social events as well as monthly meetings and speaker engagements. Occasionally, additional monies will be collected for events such as the Fall Formal and other larger social events and trips. AGBS officers are confident you will find this organization to be both helpful and rewarding, and we encourage you to take full advantage of the tools we offer that will help you do well here and in the business world.
